It is a tradition to make applesauce in our Kindergarten class. Each year the children bring in the apples. They then get to help by using an apple peeler/corer/slicer to get the apples ready for the pot. We add  sugar and cinnamon then let the apples cook all day long. Our room smells so good! 

The children, of course,  learn all about apple trees. They also get to taste test red, green, and yellow apples to see which color they like the best. We love apples!
